![]() We have tried with a loose fiber cable to bypass the ipod unit, but ordere a loop to get a better test, but I can see all units on the MOST bus, see picture. See picture from INPA, "status amplifier mute: ON" could that be a problem? In INPA i can connect to the amplifier and play sounds out on the speakers - MOST BUS should be OK? Reading out CAS - CAPPL again, I can see that TOP_AMPL_TYPE= logic7. I program CAS - CAPPL with the info from FA. Reading out the CAS - CAPPL from the new unit, I can see in fsw_psw.trc that TOP_AMPL_TYPE= nicht aktiv. Did the same programming, still no sound. Still no sound, the ccc unit started to fail again and the repairman sent a new unit to test instead. When the unit first starts to fail, it works in the morning (when unit is cold) and after first or second start the unit will just keep re-booting/restarting. Has your unit failed and are you looking for a Navigation System Replacement. I bought a cable and qickly learnt some programming with NCS expert. BMW CCC/CIC/NBT Nav System iDrive Replacement. The repair guy said it usually has to be programmed. You will need a plastic pry tool, a rachet, and a set of small metric sockets. The good news here is that the iDrive Controller is straightforward to remove. ![]() My father has an E60 - 2005 - 523i with Logic7ĬCC unit failed over time like i have read about in many post, at last it was totally black. Possible Solution: Remove the iDrive Controller and check for any damage to the motherboard.
